Continuing Education Course Offered Online
Addresses Intumescent Fire Retardant Coatings, Indoor Air Quality and
Occupant and Building Safety with the Use of No-Burn®
No-Burn®‘s continuing education course offers an inside look at alternative building materials.
The diversity and new applications available for No-Burn® products and programs have allowed the business relationships and industry opportunities to mature significantly over the past twelve months. Since the introduction of our online continuing education course, Intumescent Coatings: A Proactive Approach to Fire Prevention, No-Burn® products have been applied in more multi-family and commercial projects than in previous years. With the ongoing product and application support of our Dealer network, No-Burn® is continuing to develop new products and locate projects that require the use of alternative building materials, high performance coatings, “Class A” fire ratings and improved indoor air quality with zero and low-VOC paints and coatings.
No-Burn® is pleased to announce our continued partnership with AEC Daily. As an Approved Provider for continuing education and online learning, our revised course demonstrates an overview of Intumescent Fire Retardant Coatings, Green Building and Sustainability, Intumescent Coatings and single applications providing both Fire and Mold Resistance.
To do common things uncommonly well, brings success! Through the introduction of online continuing education courses, common building practices are being enhanced through new course material and revised building standards. Participants gain the knowledge and resources to consider alternative building materials while learning about incorporating fire and mold technology into residential, multi-family and commercial construction. To aid in the development of new course material reflecting revised building standards, No-Burn® is proud to announce our continued partnership with AIA affiliate AEC Daily. Through AEC Daily, our online course, Intumescent Fire Retardant Coatings: A Proactive Approach to Fire Prevention has reached over 400 Architects, Engineers and Construction professionals’ firms, helping to improve construction material selections based on economic options that comply with building standards and/or codes.
You are invited to view our course and achieve continuing education units in the following groups, including, but not limited to AIA/CES, CSI and CSC credits. Please view the course, AEC Daily: Intumescent Coatings: a Proactive Approach to Fire Prevention or enter No-Burn® in the search bar on AEC Daily’s homepage for course details.
No-Burn®, Inc has been leading the way in the field of fire retardant technology since 1998. By removing the fuel a fire needs to burn, these products dramatically reduce the possibility of a fire ever starting when applied over substrates such as wood, drywall, fabric, carpet, furniture, fiber-reinforced plastic and many other materials. Equally important, No-Burn® can reduce toxic smoke by as much as 80 percent. All No-Burn® products carry a “Class A” rating and are completely non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. Several No-Burn® products also offer a dual level of protection, reducing the risk of fire and inhibiting the growth of toxic-black mold.
